La mia storia

Avevo diciannove anni quando sono diventato un artigiano del colore. Con le mie mani e il sapere che mio padre mi ha tramandato, portavo il colore su oggetti preziosi. Ho lavorato con aziende legate alla tradizione dei pianoforti e ho messo il mio mestiere al servizio di architetti e di aziende artigianali e insieme innovative.Un giorno mi sono fermato.Come aprendo la copertina di un nuovo libro, ho deciso di usare i colori per descrivere i miei pensieri e le nuvole rimaste per anni in un angolo della mia mente.Oggi mi sento artista e poeta. Insegno ai miei figli un altro modo di vedere il colore: non uno strato di materia inanimata, ma forme che cambiano con gli stati d'animo.Come una nuvola.

My story

I was nineteen when I became a colour craftsman. With my hands and the knowledge my father passed on to me, I brought colour to precious objects. I worked with companies rooted in the tradition of piano making, and put my craft at the service of architects and of workshops that were artisanal and innovative at the same time.One day I stopped.Like opening the cover of a new book, I decided to use colour to describe my thoughts, and the clouds that had waited for years in a corner of my mind.Today I feel like an artist and a poet. I teach my children another way of seeing colour: not a layer of lifeless matter, but shapes that change with our moods.Like a cloud.

Stop Taking It Personally is my first book: a few ideas from Einstein's physics, from relativity to entropy, used to understand why we take offence and how to stop.
